Response Process

Our Response Timeline

  • Initial Review: We will review your DMCA notice within 24-48 hours of receipt.
  • Content Removal: If the notice is valid, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material promptly.
  • Notification: We will notify the user who posted the content about the removal.
  • Counter-Notice Period: The user has 10-14 business days to file a counter-notice if they believe the removal was in error.

What Happens After Removal

Once we remove content in response to a DMCA notice:

  • The content will be immediately inaccessible
  • We will document the takedown for our records
  • The user may file a counter-notice if they believe the removal was improper
  • We may restore content if a valid counter-notice is received and no legal action is taken

Counter-Notices

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice with us.

Counter-Notice Requirements

To be effective, a counter-notice must include:

  • Identification: Identification of the material that has been removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
  • Good faith statement: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Consent to jurisdiction: Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located.

Counter-Notice Process

Repeat Infringers

We have a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are repeat infringers. We may also at our sole discretion limit access to our website and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
